Richard has lived in Flagstaff for 26 years. Flagstaff has tons of new homes and Richard wanted to help push out good quality homes for the area he calls home. The housing market is costly and remodeling and fixing up homes is hard to find someone you can trust. Richard always hears people say they do not know of any handyman they can trust. He would like to change that. Richard is someone people can trust.
BUILT ON HONESTY
While installing a fence for my customer Kent and Pamela, they asked my opinion on a subject. A home
services company had installed some curtains for them and was offering to install new smoke alarms.
The home services provider told them that their smoke alarms were old, the batteries were not good and
if there was a fire the smoke alarms would probably not work. I explained to Kent and Pamela that their
smoke detectors were all hard-wired into the electrical panel of their home and showed them the
breaker to confirm this. In the event their batteries failed the homes electrical power would make sure
the smoke detectors worked. To make matters worse, the home services company wanted to charge
them $1,000 to replace 7 smoke detectors! I was so upset that I vowed to start a company to make sure
honesty was our #1 priority. Flagstaff Family Handyman was born. I wanted my customers to know
that they were not being lied to and could trust the information I was providing them.
